Earlier I stated, "Split Ego is a story I'm in the process of developing. It will take awhile before I'm completely done, but basis for the story had been done for over a year now."

Well the story is more in depth and much further developed then this poem, but the basic idea of the story is here:






Alter Personality


He came to me once upon a day
The day I first took a man's life away
He said he will take the pain
If he wouldn't have I would go insane
He is the evil part of me
He is my alter personality

When I am happy he hides deep
When I get mad I go to sleep
Then it is he who appears
He who has no fears
He who is as violent as can be
He who is nothing similar to me
All he has is my good look
And my body that he has took

I never know what he does
Or when he appears and that's because
When I hurt and others pay
He is awake while deep I lay
I'll be dormant, but hopefully
I'll be back, and I'll be me

There is something that I fear
Someday soon he'll stay here
And hopefully you now see
The man you'll find is not me
